Why Erfnurgen?
If I counted how many times someone has asked me what the name "Erfnurgen" means, I would have counted to at least 26 by now for sure. Before I answer that question, let me just say a few other things.1. I am not good at blogging or writing and I don't pretend to be. So if you're here to get your jollies from mocking my terrible writing style and awefulle spelling, then you have found the right place.
2. If you're expecting me to actually blog a lot, you're going to have a bad time.
3. I don't have anything else to say I just didn't want the list to end with 2.
Ok, now on to the birth of Erfnurgen.
Once upon a time in Idaho, there were two acne ridden teenagers sitting in a living room eating some BBQ potato chips. Those two teens were myself and my friend Andrew. Andrew is notorious for making weird noises. However, he hadn't made a strange noise in a few minutes and another one was due any moment. His eyes closed and his face scrunched up a little bit and he sneezed all dramatically like he usually does. Immediately following the sneeze, he did one of those awkward sneeze shiver things and then screamed out a loud weird noise. That noise sounded like "ERFNURGEN!" We thought it was a pretty funny sounding word and so we hung on to it and have been using it for various things ever since. Once we even named a mouse Erfnurgen. It cannibalized and ate the face off of another mouse (true story.) Let me know if you'd like to hear about that sometime.
Anyway, hopefully this helps answer some of the questions as to where in the world this hideous "erfnurgen" word came from.
